Window clings, also known as static clings, are adhesive-free stickers that cling to the surface of the glass using suction or static. The stickers can be removed and placed elsewhere and leave no residue on the glass beneath. We use these non-adhesive stickers where easy removal is necessary (pricing on mirrors or eyeglasses, for example). They are also perfect for any short-term, temporary, or re-occurring promotions.
Transparent and Opaque Vinyl
Transparent and opaque vinyl has self-adhesive properties and for this reason, we use it for more permanent signage than clings. Signbiz print graphics onto (Digital Print) or cut shapes from (Cut Vinyl Graphics) this transparent or solid-coloured media.
There are low and high tac varieties available, depending on the position and life expectancy required of the sticker. If needed, a professional can easily remove but not re-use these decals.
In areas where one-way vision is required, we use perforated vinyl. The vinyl is perforated with millions of tiny little holes and can be removed with heat up to a year from installation without leaving a residue. With this media, a graphic is visible from the exterior but seems see-through from the inside.
Frosted vinyl is a budget-friendly alternative to frosted or etched glass. It comes in a variety of textures and several distinct patterns. Its true versatility is realised when it is cut or printed with our large format equipment.
Also known as etch-film, it works well in areas where privacy is required, but maximum light is necessary. Health and safety laws require glass panels to have ‘vision strips’ at waist height to minimise accidental collisions. We use Etch-film for this purpose as it performs the task without being unnecessarily obtrusive. If change is required, we can remove and replace it without damaging the underlying glass.
Signbiz has applied thousands of window wraps for businesses countrywide. We’d love to explain the options available to you and help you decide which window signage is best for your project.
