The Signbiz Heart Stopper Challenge is here, and we are truly ready to take the plunge for a great cause! In Canterbury 2019, Signbiz is stepping up to brave 360 seconds in a freezing 10-degree tub of icy water. We are doing this to raise vital support and awareness for Heart Kids NZ, and now we need your help more than ever.

Taking the Plunge for Heart Kids NZ

On 18 October, the Signbiz Christchurch team will gather their courage and take the icy plunge. Although it sounds tough, every second in that cold water will directly help support children born with heart defects. In fact, Heart Kids NZ provides essential support to these brave kids and their families throughout New Zealand.

Why This Cause Matters

Congenital heart defects are the most common serious birth defect in New Zealand. Many children face countless surgeries and lifelong health challenges. Thankfully, Heart Kids NZ helps these children and their families navigate these difficult journeys with care, compassion, and practical help.

A Personal Connection

Importantly, we feel strongly about this cause because it touches us personally. One of our own team members started life as a Heart Kid. Thanks to life-saving surgery, she is here with us today, thriving and inspiring us every day. Therefore, her story reminds us how crucial it is to give back and support others facing the same challenges.
