Signwriter /Installer
Location: Southern Lakes
Position: Full TIme
Signbiz is a leading signage provider with branches across New Zealand, including Auckland, Tauranga, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Tasman, Christchurch, Dunedin and Southern Lakes.
We specialise in comprehensive brand management, custom-made signs, and full commercial fit-outs.
we are looking for a Sign Writer / Installer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in delivering quality results, and wants to be part of a skilled, close-knit team. If you like variety, working with your hands, and seeing your work out in the real world, this is the role for you.
About the Role
You’ll be involved in producing, assembling, and installing a wide range of signage projects. The role offers a mix of workshop-based and on-site work, so no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities include:
• Manufacturing and assembling signage products
• Installing signage on buildings, vehicles, and other locations
• Applying vinyl graphics, wraps, and large-format prints
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assisting with general workshop duties and job preparation
• Ensuring quality standards are maintained on every project
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone practical, reliable, and proud of the work they produce.
Ideally, you will have:
• Experience in signage, fabrication, carpentry, or a related trade
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Confidence working at heights using ladders, lifts, or scaffolding
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Signage experience is highly valued, but if you come from a hands-on trade background and are keen to learn, training can be provided.
